What REALLY Happened to the Kinsley's from Bellingham, WA?

The "Rebecca Anne" set sail with her owners, William and Rebecca Anne Kinsley, out of Bellingham Bay. Along with them were friends from the Kulshan Yacht Club on their own sailing vessel. The two couples set out to explore and bask in the waters of the Strait of Georgia and enjoy maritime life, but only the other couple returns safely. According to the Canadian Coast Guard report, the Rebecca Anne called in a mayday stating they were taking on water and believed they were hit by an uncharted rock and their hull was damaged. They reported their whereabouts east of the Ballenas Islands, within the boundaries of Whiskey Gulf. Whiskey Gulf is a military exercise area considered extremely hazardous and all mariners are advised to stay well clear during active times. So, what happened to William and Rebecca Anne Kinsley of Bellingham, WA? Did they accidentally get caught up in a line of military exercise? What is the Canadian and American governments covering up? Who were the guys in the black SUV with tinted windows with government plates that left the Kinsley's home in Sudden Valley? What happened on the Pine and Cedar Lake trails? Will Charlie Noble, a retired Coast Guard Intelligence officer, now living in Bellingham, be able to find answers and find the Kinsley's in time? Or will he be found, first, by a distant friend with a debt to settle by the death of his brother?
I was contacted by a lady and asked if I would like to read Clyde Ford's new book, Whiskey Gulf . Being a local author, how could I say no?! I emailed her back and received the book in the mail the other day. After picking it up, I just couldn't put it back down! Also, it oculdn't have come at a better time since I was home nursing a cold anyway (ugh). Honestly, this book in nature being locally set with scenes from Pine and Cedar Lakes with mentions of an assassination attempt, the Boundary Bay Brewery, Squalicum Harbor, Mount Baker, and other local areas around Bellingham, WA, it kept the suspense of the story high and I forgot about my ailing body! The end of each chapter left me needing to proceed to the next, till before I knew it, I had read the book in 2 short days and was left with the question of "did this really happen?" Whiskey Gulf a great book! I highly suggest this book for your next "good read!" I'm grateful to be living in the midst of such writing talent as Clyde Ford. I learned a lot of history about the area and maritime in's and out's as well as refueled my fire and passion for the waters myself! When my boat grows up it wants to be...and we'll definitely stay clear of the Whiskey Gulf area!
