Torre Caffe In Bellingham

(B'ham, WA)

Downtown in Bellingham is the Torre Caffe located at 119 Commercial Street. My husband and I thought we would check it out and we were not disappointed!
It is a small cafe, but the flavors were big!
We both ordered panani's. I don't know what he had, but I had a toasted panani sandwich with some kind of white soft yummy cheese, asparagus, artichokes, and zuccini. It was absolutely delicious! Topped off with an Italian soda and a small bag of chips, it was more than enough for a delightful lunch and it didn't take long to get our order.
The service was great! I'm not sure, but it may have been "the owner" who waited on us and had a real Italian sort of accent, so it really felt like being in a little bit of Italy as well! Very friendly service and the prices were good for a lunch...between $5.00 and $6.50 depending on what you wanted. They also displayed a daily special around $8.50. It sounded really good (lasagne!) but seemed a lot to eat for a lunch.
We will definitely go back to the Torre Caffe and highly recommend others to give them a try as well!
