Mount Bakery

I love a lot of Bellingham eateries for brunch and breakfast but my favorite, bar none, is the Mount Bakery. Their hand-made array of pastries from the most authentic and fantastic croissant you're going to find this side of France to their delicate buttery scones are enough to make them the most delicious breakfast in town. But they also have a truly magnificent eggs Benedict - on a Belgian waffle, poached eggs, handmade hollandaise, roasted potatoes - my mouth is watering just writing it - and on weekends there's often crab or wild salmon on the Benedict as well. And they have really excellent espressos too. And you can top it all off with a chocolate decadence cake or chocolate hand dipped shortbread or a homemade truffle. Oh man, I gotta go there immediately!

LOL! Your wonderful description of Mount Bakery in Bellingham nearly made me close out of my computer and drive back into town!!! Seriously, will have to check them out! Crab on eggs Benedict sounds mouth watering! (Big crab lovers, here.) Thanks so much for your "heads up" review!
