Missing Bellingham

Before moving to Bellingham, Wa, I could go anywhere from where we lived and not feel "homesick." Matter of fact, I could remember NOT wanting to go home.
I got a family emergency phone call last week and have been in Colorado ever since. My husband and I take mini vacations, a day or two and go out of town, it's funny that I get really homesick these days. I don't think it is "old age!" No, I think it's because we love Bellingham so much and we are quite content with the beautiful surroundings of the city, the friendly people, and the atmosphere of the city.
I am so thankful of the technology these days that allows me to still be able to listen to Bellinghams local classic rock station, KISM, from Colorado! I love that I can SEE Bellingham Bay "live" from the webcam on the weather page...
Yep! I'm missing Bellingham! I'm kicking up my heels and wanting to come home...All is well here, now, and back on track. I have a tight, but tough family and I knew the emergency would be turned to peace. And I got to spend some quality time with my grandbabies!!! (Now it is their turn to come see us in Bellingham!)
