As an x-long-haul trucker, I do know getting good directions is a must and relieves frustrations of getting lost. When my husband and I first moved here, (he had been here a few months before I got here), Rog, (my husband), would tell me, "You can't get lost in Bellingham. If you're heading north, Mount Baker will be on your right. You can see it! If your heading south, reverse...it's on your left. If you are heading east, you will see Mount Baker ahead of you. If you are heading west...turn, or you will end up in the bay!" I tell you, the tips from a guy who has "iron boogers" worked quite well with me! If you mistakingly get lost, always look for a major road! It's pretty easy to get around here. You can put your mouse over any of the "blocks" (points of interest) and it will tell you what is located there...pretty cool! Also, you can move it around to see all the surrounding areas! Have fun!
