Election 2008 From Bellingham, WA

Bbbbrrrrrr.....

This is a crucial year for elections in America. The election coming here in 2008 has really got me going.
I am registered "independent" voter. I used to be a "republican" voter, but for about 5 years I have changed my status. Why?
Don't get me wrong...it's not because of "Bush". I get a little tired of that excuse going on as well and won't touch on that. Most "Bush Bashers" can't even explain what "they mean" when they speak. I am not taking 5 steps backwards to explain.
What this "blog" is about from this day to the upcoming election is "my point of view" on the election.
First of all, I am very well so for "diversity." I love the mix of things! It's what makes the world turn and makes it interesting. But politics is politics and we need to make "right decisions."
I also am a woman...wife, mother of 3, grandmother of 4. Big history here!
I honestly have been watching the news and certain blogs and video's about the election race going on here in America. It is very interesting, yet, even in this early stage of indecision, I do have opinions...already.
I have been excited about this Obama guy. I have seen him on Oprah, even before his running for the election. I don't care if he is "democrat" or "republican" I could care less! I liked the guy and it is not "just because Oprah likes him". He is worthy of watching in my opinion.
Hilary? To be honest...I haven't liked nor trusted that lady since her husband was in office. I realise that politics is ruthless, but when you have people coming up missing and dead that links to your ministration...a lot of questions unanswered to me...
Tonight Hilary was on the nightly news. The elections are focusing on New Hampshire. The media showed her "tearing eyed" and saying how she finds "cleaning drawers and closets quiet comforting" during the elections....I say BS!
I am not that gullible to believe that Hilary Clinton, Senator in New York City, running for president 2008 is actually cleaning out her drawers and closets for comfort!!! Please!!!??? Spare me!
Put aside the closets and drawers lie...Do we really want a president that folds under pressure from the elections like that? What are we to do when she folds if we have another attack like 911?
I don't think I am ready for a "woman president."
