Who's Got The Best Burger?

I like a good burger now and then. Though I prefer to have a nice bar-b-qued burger on the grill, so far, in Bellingham, a restaurant choice would be at Bob's Burger and Brew!

My husband and I got taken out for a burger last evening with my husband's dad who was up here for the holidays from Nebraska. He said he wanted to take us out for a burger before he goes, so we went to Bob's out in Sudden Valley...just off of Lake Whatcom Blvd.

My husband and I knew what to expect. We been to a few different ones around Bellingham and in Ferndale, but my father-in-law didn't know what to expect!

He ordered a mushroom and swiss burger with onion rings. Went it came out to him, I thought he nearly fainted...his mouth dropped open and his eyes were in unbelief. He said he couldn't possibly be able to bite into that burger it was so big....full of yummy mushrooms...but he did!

Dad was quite impressed with it all. The burger was "great!" and the service was fantastic!

I heard a bird say that they have new management out there at Bob's in Sudden Valley. Good job! It's hard to impress an ol' guy from the mid-west who is surrounded by Angus Beef, but Bob's Burger and Brew did a fine job.
