Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House

My girl friend and I have been wanting to try the new Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House since they opened a few months back. So, we grabbed our guys and went the other night and it was really a great fine dining experience!
Of course, being a new building and all, it was all fresh and clean! The interior was decorated nicely, not too much, but just right. Not sure if it was "German-ish" or not, I don't think that matters much. But the menu was very German and the food and the service was great!
My husband ordered their special of the night which was the Cioppino Seafood dish. He gave me a taste of "some odd critter" and it was fantastic! He really liked it, too.
My girl friend had the steak and lobster. There was absolutely no complaints out of her except that the lobster was "a little chewy." She gave me a bite and I didn't see anything wrong at all! It was very good.
Her boyfriend has the Cajun New York Steak...cooked to his liking!
And I had the Schnitzel Oskar! A lightly breaded cutlet with a splash of white gravy loaded with crab! Oh so good!
Our waitress and the other waiting staff were really on the ball to assure our dining experience with them was satisfactory. So our overall dining experience at the Black Forest Steak & Schnitzel House would be 5 stars!
