NWTRC in Action
The NorthWest Therapeutic Riding Center in Bellingham, WA, is featured on the cover of the nationally published magazine Strides.
Long time NWTRC rider Kiyah Lorden, riding Kleng, being lead through therapeutic riding exercises by volunteer sidewalker, Kelly Rosebrock, graces the cover of the nationally distributed STRIDES magazine!
Strides, the North American Riding for the Handicapped (NARHA) seasonal magazine is subscribed to by hundreds of therapeutic riding professionals and centers, and seen by 1000’s of people in the therapeutic riding field, throughout North America and Europe.
NWTRC’s cover photo won first place, out of 140 photos submitted by North American riding centers, in NARHA’s annual photo contest. In additional to being awarded the cover of Strides magazine, NWTRC was also awarded full registration to the last national NARHA conference.
Unable to attend the conference NWTRC donated the registration to fellow region 9 NARHA member, Annie Mabry, of the Rainbow Connection, a therapeutic riding center in Anchorage, Alaska. Annie was thrilled to accept the conference registration donation.
Kiyah, Kleng and Kelly should be very proud that their determined and focused session is captured for 1000’s of therapeutic riding professionals, riders, parents, caretakers, volunteers, boards and friends to see. WE ARE PROUD! THANKS from NWTRC to Kiyah, Kelly, Kleng and NARHA!!
