Tom Ackerman - Former NFL offensive lineman, born in Bellingham in 1972 and attended Nooksack Valley High School. He played for the Saints and the Tennessee Titans.

Daniel Anderson -On the right in the photo, Daniel Anderson was born in Bellingham, WA, is an all American musician, and one of the founding members of the alternative rock band, "Idiot Pilot." Daniel has also played in the folk/alternative band, "The Ghost And The Grace." The photo is of Daniel with Idiot Pilot's counter-part, Michael Harris (left) at an MTV interview.
Bob Arbogast - Born in Bellingham is well known for radio broadcasting, voice-over acting, and writing; from Chicago to New York and Los Angeles. Arbogast has numerous screen credits for cartoons and commercial and has appeared on many television shows and movies.

Trey Azagthoth, Another among Bellingham's notable citizens, Trey Azagthoth, guitarist and founder of the Florida band, Death Metal band Morbid Angel, was born in Bellingham. As Mozart his inspiration and influence on his music, Decibel Magazine ranked Trey #1 on their list of the 20 best death metal guitarists.
Steve Baker - First American to win an international motorcycle road racing championship was born in Bellingham, WA in 1952. After his racing career, he purchased a motorcycle dealership here, in Bellingham and was inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame in 1999.

Glenn Beck-Former Fox News Host/Commentator/Radio Talk Host, best selling author, and comedian. Glenn graduated from Sehome High School in 1982. Glenn now has his own cable news network at GBTV.com and has authored many best-seller books including his latest "Being George Washington."
Kenneth Bianchi - One of the Hillside strangler serial killers, lived in Bellingham 1978-1979. He is serving a life sentence in Washington. Bianchi was born in Rochester, New York, to a alcoholic prostitute and was later adopted. He is also suspected in the Alphabet murders from 1971 to 1973 in his home town of Rochester.
Robert Blake - Folk musician and organizer of the "Annual Subdued Stringband Jamboree." He is generally considered a folk musician, though his music incorporates elements of traditional Celtic songwriters, modern punk rock, country, and blues. He has toured much of the US, Ireland, and parts of Europe.
Amy Brown -A popular fantasy and fairy artist was born in Bellingham, in 1972. As one of Bellingham's notable citizens, Amy's career began in the 1990's, today her watercolor designs appear on everything from t-shirts to calendars to buttons, and tattoos. She has 2 books out of her artwork, "The Art of Amy Brown and "The Art of Amy Brown II.
Billy Burke - An actor best known for his roles in television shows like Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Party of Five, and 24 was born in Bellingham in 1966. Burke is also one of the "famous faces" due to being a regular player on the online poker website, "Hollywood Poker."

Darren G. Davis - Comic book writer, creator, and publisher for Bluewater Productions. He began his career through marketing the entertainment industry at companies like E!Entertainment Televison and USA Network. As one of Bellingham's notable citizens, Darren is currently the head of Bluewater Productions based out of Bellingham.
Bernie Fryer - Born in Bellingham in 1949, Bernie is a retired American professional basketball player in the National Basketball Association and American Basketball Association.

Ben Gibbard - Singer/Songwriter for the band "Death Cab for Cutie" and "The Postal Service". Ben attended Western Washington University in Bellingham, in the late 1990's. Ben grew up in Bremerton during the time of the "grunge" musical explosion. He is also known for his contributions to "veganism and animal rights." As one of Bellingham's notable citizens, Ben currently resides in Seattle, WA.
R.W. Goodwin - Executive Producer of the popular television series,"The X-Files."

Michael Harris -is also among Bellinghams notable citizens! Michael, respectfully, is the other half of Idiot Pilot. Michael was born in Newhall, California in 1985, but in 1987, about 2 months before he turned 2 years old, moved to the Pacific Northwest to make Bellingham, WA home, and still lives here. Michael Harris and Daniel Anderson went to school together in Bellingham and started doing music together at the age of 12 and have been playing together ever since.
Penelope Houston -In the mid-1970s Penelope attended Fairhaven College in Bellingham. She is a popular singer and songwriter for The Avengers. Her most recent album is 2004's "The Pale Green Girl" and has since toured the U.S. and Europe.

Michael Koenen - Born in Ferndale in 1982, Michael is an American football punter and kicker in the National Football League, currently playing with the Atlanta Falcons. Michael played college football for Western Washington University in Bellingham.
Cuddles Marshall - Also among Bellingham's notable citizens is Cuddles Marshall, born in Bellingham, WA, in 1925, was an American League relief pitcher for the New York Yankees and the Saint Louis Browns back in the 40's and 50's. Back in the day he was noted as walking twice as many as he struck out.
Steve Martini - Author of several law thrillers including "Critical Mass" and "The Judge." Steve and his family live on Lake Whatcom in Bellingham, Washington.
Philip McCracken - Born in Bellingham in 1928 is an American visual artist, who works mainly in sculptural art. As one of Bellingham's notable citizens, Philip now lives on Guemes Island. His work contains much nature imagery, is generally representational, and displays a strong focus on visual form.
John Allen Muhammad and Lee Boyd Malvo - Were the two who carried out the Beltway sniper attacks. They lived in Bellingham for less than a year between 2001 and 2002. And reside in prison...
Stephen S. Oswald - Astronaut, piloted two missions aboard the Space Shuttle Discovery and one in Space Shuttle Endeavour. Oswald has logged over 33 days in space. Stephen considers Bellingham, Washington, to be his hometown though he was born in Seattle. He did graduate from school in Bellingham. He retired from NASA in 2000.
Doug Pederson - Former NFL quarterback, attended Ferndale High School was born in Bellingham in 1968. Doug played for the Green Bay Packers, Miami Dolphins, Philadelphia Eagles, and the Cleveland Browns. Due to an injury in 2004, Pederson retired from football. After his retirement, he was hired as head football coach of Calvary Baptist Academy, a private, Baptist high school in Shreveport, LA.
Elizabeth Peratrovich - An Alaskan civil-rights activist that worked on behalf of equality for Alaska native peoples. She went to school at then, Western College of Education, which is now, Western Washington University in Bellingham.

Ryan Stiles - Now, here's a face we all know and love! Emmy-nominated actor and comedian, Ryan Stiles, born in Seattle and currently lives in Bellingham, WA. Ryan owns, operates and sometimes performs at The Upfront Theatre, a live comedy club located on Unity Street, downtown in Bellingham. Ryan is definitely the funniest among Bellingham's notable citizens!
Geoff Stradling - Born in Bellingham in 1955, Geoff is an American pianist, keyboardist, composer, arranger and orchestrator. He has performed with many famous notables such as Ernestine Anderson, including the Grammy-nominated CDs "Blues, Dues and Love News" and "Now And Then", Ladd McIntosh, Kenny Goldberg, Joe Gallardo, and Jane's Addiction on Ritual de lo Habitual.
General George Pickett - General in the Civil War - Was stationed at Ft Bellingham. The house he built with his wife in 1856 still remains and is the oldest house in Bellingham.
Douglas Eugene "Gene" Savoy - Was an American author, explorer, scholar and cleric. He was best known for discovering more than 40 lost cities in Peru. Gene was born in Bellingham in 1927. He passed on this September at his home in Reno, Nevada.
Lyle Saxon - A Louisiana journalist and folklorist (1891-1946), was born in Bellingham in 1891.
Dennis Sobchuk - Former National Hockey League and World Hockey Association hockey player for the Detroit Red Wings, Quebec Nordiques, Phoenix Roadrunners, cincinnati Stingers, and Edmonton Oilers. Dennis is now coaching the Junior-A Bellingham Bulls at the Sportsplex.

Hilary Swank - Also among Bellingham's notable citizens, Hilary Swank was born in Lincoln, NE, and attended Sehome High School in Bellingham. Hilary is a two-time Academy Award-winning actress starring in many winning performances such as "Million Dollar Baby" with Clint Eastwood and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." She is married to Chad Lowe.
Ty Taubenheim - Major League Baseball Player with the Toronto Blue Jays was born in Bellingham in 1982. Ty as their starting pitcher.
K.M. Thompson - Renowned piano recording artist.
