White Wine For Lung Protection

They say that red wine may be better for your heart, but researchers have recently reported that white wine is better at preserving aging lungs.

A group of study leaders at the State University of New York in Buffalo say that people who drink a glass of either red wine or white wine each day will have better lung function than those who don't drink it at all. But they say that white wine drinkers have a 3 percent edge.

Both red and white wines contain polyphenols and flavonoids, antioxidants that help to protect lung tissue from free radical damage.

Wine Cellars

Ever think of building a wine cellar, but not sure about the pro's and con's of doing it yourself? You can Click Here! to learn how to build your own home wine cellar to store your wine in optimum condition.

Wine cellars offer the opportunity to protect your wine from potentially harmful external influences, providing darkness and a constant temperature. Wine is a natural, perishable food product made from grapes.

So, wine, left exposed to heat, light, vibration or fluctuations in temperature and humidity, all types of wine, including red, white, sparkling, and fortified, can spoil.

When properly stored, wines not only maintain their quality but many actually improve in aroma, flavor, and complexity as they mature according to Wikipedia!
