Anthony's by The Bay (as I like to call it) has always been my favorite "special place" to go for fine dining combined with romantic atmosphere, fantastic views and FOOD! OMG! The food is fantastic! Whether you are looking for something more 'ordinary' like a perfectly grilled steak or salmon roasted on an alder plank or perhaps something 'different' like Mahi-Mahi tacos, halibut or even yellow fin tuna THIS is the place to go.
The people are always extremely friendly and ready to serve. For instance, when I took my wife there for our 25th anniversary, (we always go to Anthony's for our anniversary) and we ordered our dessert, the waitress, upon hearing that this was our 25th, took a couple of long skinny candles and shaped them into the numbers 2 & 5 and place them on our dessert cake when she brought it out. Nice touch!
The food has always been perfectly prepared, presented well and served in a timely manner. With a smile! I recommend the Ceasar salad to start your dinner out regards of what main course you choose.
In addition to the food and service they also have a fine selection of wines to compliment any meal.
But one of the things that strikes me most is the experience of dining on the waterfront. With the sun setting in the distance, the views of the bay and the San Juans....it's PERFECT in every way. Check it out! You may find that it becomes one of your "special places" too!
