2 Thumbs Up For Bellingham Farmer's Market

After reading this story about the Farmer's Market being able to accept food stamps from local shoppers is encouraging!
I'm glad they are getting the way paved for the lower income residents to do so.
I have had my experiences in the past with having to use food stamps for my family when raising my children. That in itself is humbling enough.
To be able to go to a place like the Farmer's Market to buy fresh good produce and fruit for the family, because you know it's good and healthy, would have left me with a really good feeling back in the day if I could have...
I can really imagine the feeling of a mother being turned away because that is all she had to be able to make a purchase there. Embarrassed, to say the least.
I'm so proud of this great community reaching out to our lesser fortunate and making it possible for those to be able to purchase at the market.
From my own experiences, this will help those families in more ways than you could ever imagine! 2 thumbs up for the Farmer's Market! I hope they get the machines working right.......SOON!
